Starting in Fall 2009, two Ph.D./M.S. assistantships are available in Botany Department, Miami University to participate in the area of Plant Genomics and Bioinformatics.  The research work for the selected students will be an integral component of ConiferGDB (www.conifergdb.org). Possible research topics include genomic data analysis, bioinformatics software/database development and other bioinformatics applications addressing various biological questions.  Candidates need to have either strong biological or computational background.  Please contact with Dr. Chun Liang (liangc@muohio.edu) for more information.
