We have downloaded the Rice Genome Annotation (Build 4.0) from the Rice Annotation Project (RAP) and integrated it with our database and tools.  These gene models were created using ab initio and homology-based approaches, and many of them have been confirmed by full-length cDNAs and ESTs.  Through our Rice Poly(A) Browser, these gene structures have been incorporated with the Rice genome sequences and all mapped ESTs with in silico verified poly(A)/(T) tails graphically to facilitate exploration of regular and alternative polyadenylation.

Using our user-friendly web interfaces, biologists can easily search, sort, filter and visualize all the gene structures and their representative transcripts with 5' UTR, 3' UTR and CDS postional and sequence information, and then examine the relevant regular and alternative poly(A) sites if existing.
