Chlamy EST-Genome-Browser is an open-access database that currently focuses on transcriptomics of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii by integrating all available EST and genome data. Providing unique web-based tools, Chlamy EST-Genome-Browser strives to present the community with an integrated bioinformatics platform that will facilitate exploration of genetic polymorphisms, examination of gene structures and their variations, and identification of alternative splicing and alternative polyadeylations. In its current release (Build 1.0), the database houses the following data: |
309,278 raw EST trace files and 29,019 vector masked ESTs, annotated with cDNA terminal information. |
Over 270,000 high-quality EST-genome mapping hits for 233,428 ESTs created using GMAP and raw ESTs. |
94,219 high-quality, putative SNPs and 7,467 polymorphisms other than single nucleotide. |
Putative alternatively spliced transcript isoforms derived from the same genes. |
Putative transcript isoforms with differential polyadenylation. |
